Alex D. Araiza

is a designer, illustrator, and cartoonist.

He is drawn in by the colorful, the subtle, and the bold. He enjoys working both digitally and traditionally. He also goes out of his way to practice any new program or tool he can get his hands on as he thoroughly enjoys figuring out what new ways a story can be told.

His own personal projects tend to land in the horror and surreal, but he’s no stranger to drawing cats, non-fiction, and kid friendly art. Alex loves drawing cats.

His comics have been published in Believer, New Horizons, and Cicada magazine.
